The Servicing Aggregation Initiative (SAI) was developed by IMA, Cenlar and Fannie Mae in response to hundreds of inquiries from small- and mid-size Lenders asking for a servicing solution that will enable them to deliver loans directly to Fannie Mae. SAI is intended to address a specific need now existing in our market, and not currently served. The major components of SAI are a standardized process for co-issue sale, delivery, and transfer; a fully automated loan and servicing data purification and transfer system; and operational efficiencies resulting from the sale of large blocks of servicing.
